Anjali Gas Service (BP) — stove maintenance scam

Anjali gas, military road is running a scam in the name of stove maintenance. For the past 3 years, their person comes in january for maintenance of stove. I don't want it, but he says it is compulsory. This man will check and tell you that the knobs and valves are all leaky and need replacement. He replaces all of them for 1500 (New stove comes in 3000) and gives a receipt with a 1 year warranty on replacements. He gives his number too. Every year he does the same thing.

This time, i called him to check my stove after 11 months (While the parts are all under warranty). He checked again and said all valves and knobs are leaky and require replacement. I showed him the reciept and asked him to replace free of cost. He immediately started giving me excuses and different statements - there is no warranty on parts, there is only 6 month warranty on parts, the warranty is only on service — don't know what that means?? I asked him to service the stove. He said servicing will increase the leakage! He wrote 6 months warranty on my receipt - you can see it in blue ink in the photo.

Basically, this is a scam. They will come once an year and make good money on the parts. There is no warranty and every time you check the stove, all parts always need replacement.
