I am writing to formally request a refund of Rs. 1000 due to the misleading information and lack of transparency in the recruitment and payment process conducted by your telecaller.
Initially, I was informed that no upfront payment was required to proceed with joining the company. However, I was later told to pay an initial amount of Rs. 1000 with the assurance that any additional payments would be covered by the company. Further, I was given the clear understanding that this Rs. 1000 payment was refundable if I decided not to proceed before work commenced.
After this payment was made, I was contacted again and informed that an additional down payment of Rs. 15, 000 was required. This additional charge, which I was not informed of beforehand, goes against the information initially provided and seems to be a tactic to pressure me into making further payments. When I requested clarification, I was told that the initial Rs. 1000 was non-refundable, contradicting the original assurance given by your team.
In addition, I was instructed that company details and further instructions would be shared within 24 hours of my initial payment. However, I have been asked to wait for an additional week for possible suggestions from other companies, which is a significant delay from the previously stated timeframe.
