Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd — delay in possession of flat

Sir, i booked a flat in ansal housing project ansal height 86 in 2013 (Flat number j-1002). The project was to be completed in 2016, however the company cited delay in obtaining required sanctions and approvals and extended the completion timeline to october 2017. Furthermore, on repeated pressure from flat buyers, they sent a communication in november 2017 informing of more delay in the project due to various government actions like note ban, ban on ground water harvesting etc. Till now they have not communicated any fixed timeline for offering possession of flats to buyers in the project. They have already taken almost 95% of the payment against the flats from all buyers. Moreover visiting the project site reveals that there is no work currently going on on the project. One may sometimes see a only a handful of labour working on certain flats and going by that pace and considering the amount of work still left to make the flats habitable, it may take another 5 years before they can offer possession.
Sir i would request you to intervene so that my and other flat buyer's hard earned money is secured and we are able to get our flats sooner.

Hi Sir

If there is no progress in the project then you should approach to court for a refund with interest. The Supreme court is also stating that if the project is delayed by more then one year then buyers can approach any court for the refund with interest.
