Sir,
With reference to the subject cited above, I the undersigned would like to address some concerning grievances through your good office as stated below that

My Old Meter Damaged: 02/01/22

• New Meter Fixed : 11/01/22 (0.0 kWh)
• Calculated Average Bill base on the previous Rate due to damaged Meter Box was paid (450) on 13/01/22
• Last Meter Reading: 11/02/22
• Number of Days: 32
• Units/kWh Consumed: 303
• Total Energy Charge: 2263 Rupees
• Fixed Charge: 102
• Electricity Duty: 118
TOTAL. 2483
• Minus Govt. Subsidy= 228
= 2255
• Again Minus Rs, 450 (Adjustment 30/40 days) from Old Meter (damaged) based on the previous Reading Average Units/kWh[protected]= 1805)
• Remaining Payable Amount= 1805.00
• Now, it is very much CLEAR that Rs, 450 and Rs, 1805 both are from 303 Units(New Meter Reading Units)
• Without Adjustment of 450 Rupees for previous month then the payable bill amount would be Rs, 2255.00 (for 32 days/one month)
Let’s Examine
• So here no any figures/numbers of OLD METER UNITS/kWh being added to the figure 303. Yes, unexpectedly found to be adjusted in the same page of 303 Units Consumption Bill.
• It should have been adjusted/addressed separately.
• Therefore the question of being adjusted from 303 Units does not make any sense rather created more confusions to the best of my Knowledge.(Referring the Bill)
• Now, the Question is, What to blame??? or Whom to blame???
• Is it to blame to the faulty of the Meter Box which is now showing tripled the previous months consumption rate(Bills Payment Receipts are the witness) or
• Is it to the Billing Bench to blame? Or am I to silent why? How?
• Please allow me to clarify a couple of points that we are using the same number of bulbs, appliances for the past many months.
• Yes, during Christmas and New Year days my family members were increased by 4/5 members and used extra appliance like an electric Kattle for urgency for fews days and they left the house shortly.
• The ball is in the court of APDCL Mirza Sub-division, Kamrup Assam.
• Please clarify from your end.
