Apna App Leaking Personal Information and Causing Unwanted Job Call

I am writing this complaint regarding the Apna Job App, which I used to search for jobs. After registering and entering my personal details on the app, I started receiving multiple phone calls from unknown numbers offering jobs I never applied for.

It appears that the app is either leaking or irresponsibly sharing users’ personal information, such as phone numbers, without permission. This is a serious violation o[censored]ser privacy and data protection.

Here are the key issues I faced:

I started receiving 5–10 calls daily from unknown recruiters.

I never applied to most of the jobs these callers mentioned.

My phone number seems to have been shared or accessed without my consent.

There is no proper in-app setting to control data sharing or delete account information.

This misuse of data is not only inconvenient but also mentally disturbing.

I request a strict investigation into this matter and demand:

1. Immediate removal of my personal data from Apna App’s servers.

2. Explanation of how my number was leaked or misused.

3. Stronger data privacy policies from the platform.

If no action is taken within 7 days, I will escalate the matter to the relevant data protection authorities under Indian IT laws.
