We purchased a 20KVA,415 volt 'Kirloskar Green' diesel genset from M/s Power Irri-gens [Regd Office-'Commerce House'2,G C Avenue-7th floor,Room No.5A,Kolkata -700 013] on 09.03.2012. Right from installation this machine is not functioning properly and we are unnecessarily put to inconveniences due to several interpretation and counter-interpretation by techinal persons representing M/s Technocon Services,your authorised service provider. The end-result is that we are not getting the benefir when it is needed. The gen-set is always covered by warranty and then AMC from November 2012.Till date it has run only for 45 hours and already we have changed filters twice and paid for those items.Now suddenly we come to know that another important part is 'not working' and need to be changed immediately, which costs Rs. 6500(appx). We are shocked.
We have already expended around Rs. 3.00 lac for the gen-set and more than Rs.1.00 lac for installation, erection of canopy, setting up of electrical lines etc. While evaluating the money ,time, and energy so far spent by us on this single issue , we feel disappointed. The reason for such huge disappointment may be ascribed to the fact that we had taken a considered opinion to purchase Gen-set only from your good company, but we are now facing a hard reality and our experience is totally against our expectation.The service provided by M/s Technocon Services is poor and technical persons ,who represent that company, are lacking in communication skill. The ultimate result is that we are suffering during power-cuts but the gen-set is lying as an 'white elephant' at our premises and time and again the persons are coming from M/s Technocon Services, without schedule and without prior appointment and making a mockery of 'maintenance', in the presence of our 'security persons'(excepting last 2 days, when the undersigned was at the site).
May we therefore, request you to replace the captioned gen-set at the earliest.
