Aprtment — Tortured by House owner

Hi, I'm writing to record a complaint against my house owner who is residing in Germany. I'm remote working professional. I moved in 1 month and five days back based on verbal agreement from the owner, no tenant was living before in the apartment, when I moved in I booked the Urban Company to clean the whole apartment and supervised it from morning to evening and paid for them. He said since he is not in India and asked me to help to do that.

1. House rental contract: He convinced me that once I moved in, he will arrange for broker to make the contract agreement, after I reminded him through whatsapp messages and over calls many times, he didn't considering it seriously and there is no agreement made till now.

2. Advertised wrongly: The advertisement said it's fully furnished, I visited the place with same expectation but nothing is there except for a few furniture in 2bhk apartment. Before I moved in I raised the same concern saying that I wanted basic furnitures that includes fridge, washing machine and dining table for the agreed rent. He promised that he will arrange the dining table and not arranged yet and even though there is washing machine in place but it's not in working condition.

3. Mishandling: When I tried asking for the mentioned point 1 and 2 he wanted me to purchase and pay for it. Above all this he treated me as his servant/employee. E.g. Forcing me to arrange for plumber, electrician, carpenter though I mentioned I'm new to city and can't speak the language. Forcing me to collect the furniture even though there is a delivery service provided by the shop/store saying the delivery charge is Rs.800. At one point, even though I mentioned that I don't require the furniture he is demanding and forcing me to do all the work for him even though I'm sick.

4. Threatening: When I wanted to justify my points he always threatened me that he will hung up the call if don't stop speaking and do what he says.

5. False blames: Since he started screaming over the call I told him I wanted to move out, then he started blaming everything on me by turning the table and demanding to serve him whether or not I'm continue staying at the apartment. When I tried explaining since there is no signed contract and that I don't want to continue serving him, he hung up on me. Not responding now.

I sent him an email with one month notice, not sure, how to proceed and I'm worried that he will not respond and/or return my deposit as well. Above all this affects my mental health and couldn't concentrate on my work.

Note: I have all the whatsapp conversation to support the above mentioned and the proof of deposit and expenses on behave of him has been spent.
