Artemis Hospital Sec 51 Gurgaon — Complaint against Dr Sanjeev Chatrath for misguiding

Dear Sir/Mam

This is highly disappointing to see that such a big institution is not at all concerned for its patients. A patient visits a doctor trusting him the most that he will suggest him the best solution.
But in my case, this was totally vice versa. On 17 Sep, I met with an accident and was admitted to Sec 51 branch in emergency. Dr Sanjeev Chatrath attended me and after going through my X Rays, suggested to have a plaster in my left foot and surgery for right shoulder collar bone dislocation. It was me who did not agree to undergo surgery at that moment as none of my male family member was present there. They gave me the bill and the total amount I have was around Rs 11k. This might not be a big amount for someone, but for me it was..When asked for reports and X rays, we were told that being a Sunday, they cannot issue me any soft or hard copy.
After 2 days, ie. on 19 Sep, evening I could see my reports uploaded on the hospital app where the doctor had written that there were no severe problem, no open injuries and was given ice pack and that everything seems normal and that they had suggested me to get discharged and follow up further in OPD though the doctor had asked me to go for surgery the same day, no ice pack was applied and there were open wounds on my right shoulder, right knee and left elbow.
When I tried reaching Dr Vipin Maheshwari under whom Dr Sanjeev Chatrath works, I was told that if this is the case, I should come n have an appointment with the Doctor for which I would again be charged consultation, visiting and other charges.
It was then that I understood that the treatment I was suggested for, was not for my betterment but for the hospital's financial betterment. I took appointment in both Private and Government hospitals, both Delhi and Gurgaon and found to my shock that Artemis was just trying to make money out of my pathetic situation.
I want an answer and a clear explanation for misguiding me alongwith a reimbursement of the amount I was charged wrongly. Had I trusted the doctor and undergone surgery, I would have taken a legal action against the hospital as well as the doctor for sure.

Waiting for a quick response.
