Ashok Leyland Limited — fake job offer | |
I got a mail on 03/10/2018 from ashok leyland (Hr. Ashokleyland.[protected]@gmail.com) stating that your cv has been shortlisted online from shine.com for our annual direct selection of candidates. She asked me to message my name, number, and mail id. After messaging her, she called me on and said that you will shortly get a call for your telephonic round. I got a call on 06/10/2018 and she asked me that you are ready for your interview. Then she asked me, "tell me about your self?" after that, she asked to differentiate engineering and technology. She keeps asking such 2-3 questions and then she asked about my b. Tech. Background. She asked, "what is thermodynamics?".in the end, she congratulates me and asked me to forward my technical documents to the following mail ids; Ashokleylandltd. [protected]@gmail.com, and [protected]@ashokleylandrecruitment.co.in When i mailed one mail got returned saying that the mailbox is full of emails and the limit has been crossed. From the other mail address, today (08/10/2018) i got a mail containing job confirmation letter and submit the security deposit before 2 p. M. I opened the attachment file and it was written that submit a refundable security deposit of 7400/- from any nationalized bank to the following details; Legal department - ashok leyland limited Kotak mahindra bank - mr. Lalit kumar Account details - [protected] Ifsc code - kkbk0005032 And it is also written that submit it be before 2 p. M. On 08/10/2018 otherwise your confirmation will be canceled. She also asked to contact the senior executive as mentioned in the mail. Name - aakriti peer (She called first) Contact - +91-[protected] Senior hr - ms. Vidya tiwari Contact - +91-[protected] After all this, i called ashok leyland toll free number[protected] to confirm about this. They said that this is fake and we (Ashok leyland) never ask for the security deposit or any kind of money deposit for jor offer and suggested me to file a complaint.
