Employee claim - non disbursement of full & final settlement - period: more than 18 months passed
Dear sir / madam,
I am an ex-employee of m/s assotech limited. Due to financial crunch in the company, i was laid off by the employer with a condition that if i don't put my resignation letter immediately, i shall not be given anything including any of the benefits i was entitled for, which otherwise would be applicable and given to me. So, in good faith that at least i will get my hard earned money very soon after resigning and meanwhile, i shall look for another job, i left the company on 29th november 2014 with a heavy heart. Company hr assured me verbally that i will get my settlement amount by next week by the way of a cheque towards full & final settlement. Subsequently, i received the full and final settlement sheet (For amount = inr 140, 000/-) from the company hr which is available with me as an evidence of the claim.
However, till today, i. E. 25/07/2016, even after making several visits to the company and after making several requests by meeting the company's md (Mr. Sanjeev srivastva) and sending several e-mail reminders (60 nos.), i haven’t been paid even a single rupee by the company for my hard work. This is really very disturbing. And it has put an adverse effect on my mental condition and physical health as well. I am always stressed and under tension. Every time when i talk to hr of the company, they say that the file is under md’s signature. Md doesn’t pick any of the calls. Upon visit to the company, if md happens to meet accidentally, at the first instance, he refuses to have known any such thing and advises to ask hr. And hr person has also left from assotech now, if complete situation is explained to him again, then he says that it will be paid soon. It seems as if this is an endless ordeal for me. I really don’t know what to do and where to go. I do not have even resources to go to court and file a law suite against them. Please help me to recover my hard earned money. Please.
