Autodesk — threatening call from denave for autodesk, symantec and adobe

I want to complain about denave india pvt. Ltd., a sales company based in sec-62, noida that works as a third party selling agency for softwares and products of autodesk, symantec and adobe etc.

I received a call from adobe, person named sahil bhat who used pressuring techniques, rough langauge and threats under the guise of of making an allegation that we use thier softwares illegally and must undergo an "audit" (Read, pressurizing technique to somehow enter your premises, install malware, fradulently convey that we do have softwares or their related files, and eventually asking us to pay lakhs of rupees for penalty and buying license).

I clearly conveyed to the person over email and call that we do not use these and that their software is nowhere related to our field of work. It turned out that they had a set email template and phone responses that were threatening in nature to pressurize for a sale and were least concerned with what i had to say.

I understood these gimmicks and complained at approporate forums and machineries of the system.

My advice to any persons receiving such a call -

1. Give it back to them! They accuse you of piracy etc. Simply for their sales tactics but the fact remains that they have no such information that they claim. If they have proof against you, tell them to share it over email. They can't because it does not exist.

2. Complain to the main company's website

3. Under no circumstances, should you reveal any of your information. This is simply a social engineering technique to find out your information and then use it against you.

4. Nobody has a right to threaten you, harass you, enter your premises or fraudelently "audit" you unless they have a court order (They can't!)
Complain at all appropriate forums, email them telling you know of all their techniques and will not accept further commuinication from them. You have proven your point enough - legally!
