I would like to complaint for the auto Rickshaw drivers dadagiri regarding the fares they are charging according to their own mood and wish. From Evershine to Vasai West station they are charging rs 80/- for private auto and today while returning back, we came till the east-west bridge and tried to take private auto till Evershine vasai East...they were telling rs 80/- from there. I denied to give and asked them to take me in rs 60/- as rs 80/- is till station, than how can u'll charge rs 80/- from east-west bridge to Evershine.
Some of them started threatening us, some of them started rudely arguing with us...i was with my 5 years old daughter and also my friend was there with her daughter...this was like gundagiri and we felt very insecured as we were with our kids and it was 9.15pm ..
We were in hurry as our kids were tired and was eagerly wanted to reach home asap...but everytime we have to fight for money as the rickshaw's expenses is getting very high day by day...they are just looting the people by telling any amount of fare as per their unity and monopoly.
I request the Government to take necessary action on it and to bring the meter asap. It is getting very difficult to take our kids to freak out during their holidays. Expenses are getting very much high day by day...and middle class person is suffering to fulfill their families wishes. Please bring meter and take strict actions on these rude auto rickshawalas.
