The death of a family member due to a botched root canal is a tragedy that no one should have to experience. Unfortunately, this is a reality that many families have had to face due to Dr Minesh Mulchand Shah's criminal negligence. A root canal is a procedure that is used to completely remove infected or damaged tissue from inside a tooth. This is a common procedure, but if a dentist deliberately performs an incomplete root canal and then tries to hide his mistakes when the tooth gets infected, the results can be devastating.
There is a nice essay written about the dentist Dr. Minesh Shah. The essay talks about how Dr. Minish Shah deliberately botches up his work and then tries to hide his mistakes when serous complications occur due to his botched work. You can read the essay here:

Dr. Minesh Shah did an incomplete root canal on my father's tooth, knowing fully well that it would get infected. The tooth got infected after nine months and when we went back to see Dr. Minesh Shah, he refused to do an X-Ray. Instead of helping us, he started questioning us and throwing doubt on our claim that my father's tooth was infected. Dr. Minesh knew very well that he performed an incomplete root canal and incomplete root canals always get infected after some time, but he did not want to admit his mistake. My father believed Dr. Minesh Shah's lies and did not pursue this matter further.
After a few weeks, an abscess formed on my father's tooth and the infection spread throughout his body. My father had a heart valve disease and he was particularly vulnerable to such infections. The inner lining of his heart's chambers and valve became infected and he died of Endocarditis. Dr. Minesh Shah performed an incomplete root canal knowing fully well that my father had a heart condition. Not only did Dr. Minesh Shah NOT do any follow-up x-rays after the incomplete root canal, he deliberately lied to us when we went to see him about my father's infected tooth. Dr. Minesh Shah's criminal negligence resulted in my father's death.
I wish I had read the complaints posted on the Internet about Dr. Minesh Shah before taking my father to him. My father died because Dr. Minesh Shah was more concerned about hiding his mistakes than he was about my father's life. Was this information helpful? |
