I was charged excessively for getting house hold goods which mainly contained cloths and utencils from Kolkata to Jabalpur on Oct 8th 2023. There were a total of 7 small cartons for which total weight was less than 150Kg.
Amaljeet who represented Baishnabi packers and movers collected Rs9000 (Rs6500 cash and Rs2500 via UPI payment) and said my goods will be transported via his own arrangement / vehicle. But in actuality he sent all the goods via Gati which costed Rs 2823.74.
To my misery, when the goods arrived damaged at my hometown in Jabalpur he first agreed to compensate for the damages and then neglected to act on them. Even after multiple followups there was no action taken from him or the company head.
Please help as these people are giving wrong impression to customers and looting them when in need. And do not even have professionalism to hold their word for compensations. They are straight out fraud who must not be allowed to operate.
Please help as there is no other way for me to get justice.
