My Bajaj Chetak electric vehicle (Registration No: MH15JJ3370, Chassis No: MD2B35303PCB55012) suffered a breakdown due to a Motor Controller Unit (MCU) failure and was towed to Wasan & Sons Bajaj, Mumbai Naka, Nashik on 22nd August.
As of today, the vehicle has been stranded at the workshop for over a month (31 days). The service centre is delaying the repair, claiming that Bajaj Auto has a shortage and is not supplying the MCU on time. Furthermore, they have wrongfully rejected my Extended Warranty claim by falsely claiming I delayed past services. All my servicing has been done exclusively at their authorized outlet, and any historical scheduling delays were due to their own workshop booking backlogs.
Even though I offered to pay the full amount in cash under protest to expedite the process, they still refuse to give me a clear delivery date. This vehicle is my daily commute, and I am suffering a daily financial loss of ₹200 (totaling ₹6, 200 so far) traveling by autorickshaw. I have already lodged an NCH complaint (Docket No:[protected] but have received no resolution.
