I want to make an official complaint against Balaji Foundation, Chandanganj, Maurawan, Unnao Uttar Pradesh for unethical practices in its social internship programme. So The talk of social internship was happend with Mukesh on 10 May 2026
I have successfully completed my social internship with the NGO and completed all the work with proof. I update my work with him. After finishing the internship I requested for my completion certificate as it is needed for my college submission
But instead of giving me my certificate, the NGO has been asking me for Rs 2, 200 in the name of “donation”. I was not told before or during the internship that I will have to pay/donate to get the certificate.
In my knowledge Darpan registered NGO not ask money for it.
For the past two weeks, I have been repeatedly asked to come back later with excuses such as "come next week, " "I am out of town, " and other delays. On 25 June 2026,
I first confirmed over the phone that my certificate was ready, and I was asked to visit the office by 5:00 PM. and I confirmed this by ngo member arohi because was just delaying from 2 weeks to make certificate by giving excuses. However, upon reaching the office, I was again told to come the next day and was asked to make the ₹2, 200 donation before receiving the certificate. I refused to make any such payment.
I believe that withholding an internship completion certificate unless an unofficial donation is paid is unfair, unethical, and amounts to coercion. Such practices may also affect many other students who require these certificates for academic purposes.
I respectfully request that the matter be investigated and that appropriate action be taken against the NGO if any violation is found.
In my internship I was mainly in touch with a person called Mukesh that is connected with the NGO. You can reach him at [protected] . All communication for the internship was done through him throughout the internship. But when I finished all the work I was asked to do, he kept delaying issuing me my completion certificate, giving all sorts of excuses, like asking me to come back the next week or saying he was out.
Other Detail:-
On 25 June 2026, when I visited the NGO office, I spoke with a person named Arohi, who was present at the office. She informed me that I would have to pay ₹2, 200 as a donation before my internship completion certificate could be issued. I refused to make the payment. I do not have her contact details, but she was present at the NGO office during my visit and communicated this demand to me. I request the concerned authority to investigate the matter and, if any violation of law or regulations is found, take appropriate action against the NGO.
I am attaching some photos which are proof that I have done social internship like plantation and giving food etc.
