I had booked a(to and fro-delhi and chennai) flight ticket in indigo on 17 august 2013 for travel on 26 september 2013. My indigo flight booking reference number is J1YJTP. I had cancelled both the tickets on 20 september, 2013 through the indigo customer care call centre. They informed me that the money will be refunded to my bank account, the debit card of which i used to pay the flight charges, in a time period of 10 working days. They said they will refund me Rs.6520 out of Rs.11600 which i paid.
I have called them many number of times since the lapse of 10 working days. Last time when i called, they said they have done the transaction and there is no fault on their side, if the transaction has not happened and i will have to only approach the bank. They gave me a transaction id- [protected] . I approached Indian bank-esplanade branch and enquired about the transaction.
I was informed by the bank that no such transaction with the above mentioned Transaction id has happened .I made a call again to the indigo customer care and they gave me a mail id to complain. I did that too. But in vain. They replied me with the same reply, That transaction has been approved from their side.
I have done what all i could to retrieve my hard earned money back. The person at indigo customer call centre said last time that nothing they can do now.Its been a month, i have been toiling here and there for this issue.Am Confused, aggrieved, shocked and annoyed. Have i been left with no option now??
