In karnataka website (Http://www.karnataka.com/govt/how-to-obtain-a-marriage-certificate-in-karnataka...⇄ it is mentioned that house rent agreement, telephone bills is considered as a valid address proof to obtain marriage certificate.
And we showed house rent agreement, hr letter, airtel internet bills, vodafone postpaid bills.
But varthur sub registrar officials refused to consider that as an address proof and hence we didn't get our marriage certificate. Was this information helpful? |
