I purchased a pair of shoes from the shop on December 16, 2025, for ?3200, as per Payment details. The salesperson explicitly assured me of a 1-year warranty covering defects and service at the time of purchase. However, after only 5 months of normal use, by May 2026, the shoes developed severe damage with water entering due to poor sole quality, rendering them completely unusable—this is clearly a manufacturing defect, not due to any hard usage. When I approached the shop for redressal under the warranty, they refused replacement and offered only service, which they have proven unreliable in the past. This is actually the second time I have faced the exact same issue from this shop: previously, I bought shoes from here, experienced identical sole failure, and their "service" merely applied superglue, which failed shortly after, forcing me to purchase this new pair despite the prior bad experience. Despite the high price charged, they use very poor quality soles, amounting to pure cheating of customers and repeated deficient service, in violation of the Consumer Protection Act 2019. I have suffered financial loss, mental agony, and inconvenience due to their unfair practices. I seek full refund of the purchase amount plus 9% interest from December 16, 2025, compensation of ?10, 000, litigation costs of ?2, 000, and an order to replace with quality shoes or cease such practices.
