Can you help me get a refund from Dr. Murugavel, DDS? I first heard of Dr. Murugavel (or "Muru") & "BASAL IMPLANTS" over the internet in 2014... We then e-mailed back & forth for 18 months. I then flew from Chicago, USA to Best Laser Dental Clinic (BLDC) in Valasaravakkam, Chennai, India in November 2015….. He operated on me around Nov 7th, 2015... BASAL implants are illegal in the USA……..They have not been approved by the FDA ... They are not used ANYWHERE in the western hemisphere...Not Mexico, Brazil, USA or Canada... So i cannot get help when I return to the USA... Muru just screwed these 1 piece implants into my gums, like you would place a screw into a piece of wood... He did this by eye alone...There was no x- ray machinery guiding him... He missed the bone on 1 implant, & the tip of the implant is floating in air.. I will eventually lose that implant... After he screwed them in, he wanted me to take painkillers & antibiotics... But he never told me in advance... After he screws them in, the implants then stick out above your gumline, like a tooth would... If they get bumped alot after he places them, they will fail.. To prevent this, he connected all the implants with a black metal bar, so that the implants cannot move if they get bumped... Its pretty heavy & takes up alot of space in your mouth... Thus, it interferes with my swallowing, salivation & enjoyment of my food... I also swallow alot of air... Muru then cement glued this black bar to the roof of my mouth, so it can't move either... He then welded & melted the bar to the implants. So now I have a TON of metal implants in my mouth, a heavy, clumsy black metal bar, cement glue stuck to the roof of my mouth (which is entering my bloodstream), and it is all melted.. And he never notified me that he is doing any of this... It will now take me 15 dental appointments & $2000 american dollars to remove all this material from my mouth. Could you please talk to Dr. Murugavel & ask him to refund my money, so that I can pay another dentist? This is Dr.Sasi kumar a dentist in valasaravakkam.Don't believe this guy called daniel..he is a cheat..he came to our clinic after getting implants from dr.murugavel.He told he is not happy with the implant treatment..and we gave the plan and cost for making teeth part alone.He gave permission for us to proceed with the treatment..when we finished few appointments..he didn't pay any money.He keep on telling that his card is not working..we found his activities suspicious and we felt he is trying to get the treatment without paying the money..when we enquired in the clinic in which he done his implants..we found that he paid only minimal amount of money and didn't went for further treatment..during his presence in our clinic..we found his behaviour towards the women staff of our clinic is not proper..when we told to pay money ..and then to proceed the treatment..he started threatening that he will post complaint in this forum like how he did for dr murugavel…after that he didn't come to our clinic..he must have cheated some other dentist..
dear doctors, , , kindly beware of this kind of cheats.Because of him we lost a considerable of money which we spent for making teeth for him..if any one knows him..( he told he is from chicago and is moving to arkansas)..kindly mail us.

It is like a nightmare or I am still suffering as a aftermath of earthquake. They extracted one healthy tooth which was sufficient enough to hold a bridge and inserted one implant under adjacent tooth and when I said my problems doctor Anjali was arrogant and she yelled at me. I m not writing this for any compensation but for those who want to do implant for easthetic purpose be ware.reducing the vertical height of your teeth will eventually lead to reduce resting place of facial muscles they did this to me and now I look older than my age.one side sagged and asymmetric where the implant was done. I could just cry inside me for I had done a mischief for selecting best laser dental.
