I purchased a Consistent H61 motherboard from Better Deal IT Hub (Bill No. 4757, dated[protected]. The invoice issued had the wrong buyer name. I pointed this out, and the seller promised to correct it.
Despite in-person visit, call, e-mail and repeated follow-ups via WhatsApp (with proof shared), the issue was completely ignored. I contacted the product manufacturer directly and was informed that the invoice may not be strictly required for warranty in this particular case.
However, that does not change the fact that the seller issued a legally incorrect invoice and failed to correct it after repeated promises. This is not just unprofessional — it reflects poor business ethics and raises concerns about whether the transaction was properly documented under GST.
Even if warranty isn't affected, a proper invoice is a basic customer right. Once the product was sold, the seller stopped responding entirely, showing zero accountability.
I’m sharing this publicly to warn other customers and request that the seller issue a corrected invoice and acknowledge the purchase properly. Was this information helpful? |
