[Resolved]  Bharat Online Media — misleading advertisement

Many had registered and signed up for a "work from home" option offered by Bharat Online Work.com. After sign up, the website mentioned that a package will be delivered in 3 business days upon which I need to pay Rs. 1490/- to the delivery person. Procedure involved calling of a lady saying that the package is on the way and to keep the money ready. the package include the CD with instructions and paid the amount to the courier delivery person. After going through the instructions on the CD in detail. One have to logged into the website, but it just kept giving links to sign up with other websites to look for offers like surveys, feedback etc. After signing up with those websites (free), did not get any work. The response was always "this survey is not available at this time" or "avail great offers on products or services". But there was no work alloted. Some of those websites even look suspicious! I tried several times to reach Bharat Online Work at the number[protected] from where that lady had called. Phone is always busy. No response to email sent to [protected]@bharatOnlineWork.com. Many more are cheated like this. The website looks genuine and till you get the package there is email and call communication from the company. After you get the package, no support !
