Bharathy Bus — Complaint regarding misbehavior and overcharging by bus conductor (Tn32 ar6904)

I would like to bring to your attention an unpleasant experience I had on 19/05/2025 while traveling on the Bharathy Bus (TN32 AR6904). As I boarded the bus, I asked the conductor whether it was going to Villupuram. Later, while purchasing the ticket, I clearly informed him that I wanted to get down at IFET College, and if the bus didn’t stop there, I would get off at Madagadipet instead. However, the conductor was rude and intentionally scolded me in front of others. Instead of charging the correct fare of ₹20 from Pondicherry to IFET College/Madagadipet, he charged me ₹33 for a full fare to Villupuram, even though I did not travel the entire route. To make matters worse, he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and shouted at me, despite me being a student. At that moment, I did not have any extra money and was put in a very difficult situation. I was deeply disturbed by his unprofessional behavior and disrespectful attitude. I kindly request you to take appropriate action against the conductor to ensure such incidents do not happen in the future. Thank you for your attention.
