Big Bazaar / Future Bazaar / Future Retail / Hometown — Escalation in regards to expiry of profit club & wrong refund calculation

Dear team,

Greetings.

In addtion to my below mail explaining the issue from macro view, we went through the policies of profit club and realized the amount has to be used within 18 months i. E. End of march 2020. As we are aware the whole country is suffering from covid19 situation and lockdown has been imposed in most of the states including delhi. Given the guidelines from the goi, we preferred to stay at home in order to keep the family and citizens of delhi safe by keeping ourselves socially isolated. I believe you will agree to my point.

Between adhering to the deadline of 18 months over safety of our lives, we chose the safety.

Also, to bring to your notice, we tried using profit club card for home delivery option, whereas we were communicated that the card is only applicable at stores and can't be used for online transactions or home delivery.

In the light of above situation, we see following 2 options -
1. A refund with prorata calculations (Let us know what documents are required for such transfer).
2. Extension of validity of card with 2 months which gives us ample time to use remaining amount.
