Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint against Binary Apple Systems, located at Door No. 104, 1st Floor, Santhosh Manor, Srinagar Colony Main Rd, beside Ganapathi Complex, Navodaya Colony, Yousufguda, Hyderabad, Telangana 500045, for selling me defective MacBook Pro laptops and failing to provide an adequate resolution despite repeated attempts.
Details of the Incident:
1. On February 27, 2024, I purchased a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) from Binary Apple Systems for INR 120, 000. After using it for approximately six months, the SSD crashed, rendering the laptop inoperable.
2. Upon reporting the issue to Binary Apple Systems, the seller offered me INR 55, 000 for the defective laptop. I agreed and paid an additional INR 55, 000, totaling INR 110, 000, to receive another MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) with an M1 Pro chip, 10-core GPU, 16-core GPU, 16GB RAM, and 500GB flash storage on July 7, 2024.
3. After using the second MacBook Pro for around one month, I encountered significant issues: the speaker stopped working, and the display failed. I immediately reported these issues to Binary Apple Systems.
4. The seller informed me that it would cost approximately INR 50, 000 to replace the display. This response is unacceptable given that the laptop was used for only one month and should be covered under a reasonable warranty period.
Total Expenditure:
I have spent a total of INR 175, 000 on these purchases, considering both the initial and additional payments made.
Request for Resolution:
I am deeply dissatisfied with the defective products and the lack of proper service from Binary Apple Systems.
