I placed a rasamalai order on Bistro by Blinkit on April 27, 2026 at 2:38 pm. Within a minute I realised I had entered a wrong delivery address and immediately contacted support to change it. Support representative Rishika informed me at 2:42 pm that the address cannot be changed. I was given two options: accept delivery at the wrong location or cancel. Since I couldn’t use the wrong address, I requested cancellation. Total time from order to cancellation: approximately 3-4 minutes.
Blinkit refused to process any refund, claiming the food was “already prepared”. This claim is factually incorrect because:
1. Rasmalai are pre-made bulk items, not custom prepared dishes.
2. Within 3-4 minutes, food preparation is operationally impossible
3. Blinkit’s own T&C states refunds must be provided for “permitted cancellations”
4. The T&C does not list “food preparation” as grounds for denying refunds
5. The cancellation was necessary due to Blinkit’s system limitation, not customer wrongdoing.
Blinkit has repeated the same false excuse twice without addressing the facts or timeline. I request a full refund or promotional code equivalent to my order amount. Was this information helpful? |
