BITS Pilani Goa — did not refund me

I attended their event known as waves in goa i was told that ill be charged 2000 rupees for an accommodation for 4 days by one of there committee member on reaching there at first they denied accommodation for 4 days and said they could only provide for 1 day later they said they will be charging 2100 rupees per person. After they took the money and gave me passes for out campus accommodation they come to us and say they no longer have any rooms for us and asked to us to adjust in the hostel room. Keep in mind this is one room with a single bed and asked us to share this bed between two people until the problem is resolved. We waited for half a day only to hear that they will not be able to do anything and we can stay in the room we are already in. Out of discomfort i went and booked ourselves a hotel near by and asked for my refund as they had already charged us for outcampus accommodation, at first they refused to refund and when i explained them the situation as to how there already were no rooms when they took the money from us so they shouldn't have made us pay in the first place so they promised to solve the problem after the even is over. It has been 1 week now and non of there members are answering my calls and i feel that they are trying to deceive us and not refund our payment. I want to take actions against them and demand a compensation for the discomfort along with my refund.
