We (PRIMESPACE REALTY GROUP) had purchased the BMW 730LD bearing MH12 KT 0500 from Bavarian Motors - Pune in the month of July 2021 for over 1.50 Crores. We had also purchased a 5 years extended warranty and a 5 years service package.
Within 6 months of the purchase the car failed to start one day in the month of February 2022. Upon investigation, we were told by the BMW Pune dealer that the battery was a problem and the car needed to be jump started and taken to the service center.
The service advisor at the Bavarian Motors - Pune told us that their system is showing that the car's battery was used in idle condition hence it drained. While the fact was that the car was started and used 15 minutes before it failed to re-start again.
Our request for replacement of the battery was turned down on the pretext that the battery was healthy and not faulty, hence doesn't fit in the criteria of replacement. We were assured that the replacement would be surely given if the problem resurfaces.
On 15th September 2022, the car again failed to restart. This time the car was driven about 2 hours before it failed to restart. Same thing, we had to jump start it again. Just imagine the level of inconvenience and embarrassment even after buying the flagship 7 series of the best car maker in the world - BMW.
If the service provider would have replaced the battery when it gave the problem the first time, BMW loyal customers wouldn't have faced this issue again.
This is our 3rd BMW. Never faced this kind of trouble and non-cooperation from the dealership.
Requesting intervention, relief and replacement of the battery immediately.
