I am filing this formal complaint against Bonito Designs for their unprofessional behavior and fraudulent practices, which have caused me significant financial loss and emotional distress.

Complaint Summary:
In February 2024, I made a payment of Rs. 1, 20, 397 to Bonito Designs for interior work on my new home. However, from the outset, their handling of the project was severely unprofessional.
Key issues include:
False Commitments: Bonito Designs promised various services such as premium quality, on-time project delivery, customized designs, and transparency but failed to deliver on these promises. They misled me at every stage of the process. Sunith, the project lead, convinced me to proceed with the project despite several red flags. His misleading commitments ultimately led me into this financial loss and emotional distress.
Procrastination and Lack of Communication: Despite repeated follow-ups, they failed to communicate proactively. My calls and requests for updates were often ignored, forcing me to chase them continuously.
Lack of Transparency: There was no clarity regarding the project's progress, and I experienced significant delays, which were never explained properly.
Excessive Cost Estimates: The estimates provided by Bonito were highly inflated compared to other vendors for similar services. Their pricing did not match the value or service offered.
Client Restrictions: They imposed unjustified restrictions, such as preventing site visits during the execution phase, which I found extremely unprofessional and suspicious.
Trust Issues: After researching more about Bonito, I discovered multiple consumer complaints that revealed a pattern o[censored]nethical practices, eroding any remaining trust I had in the company.
Deceptive Use of Celebrity Names: Bonito markets their services under the names of Gauri Khan and Manish Malhotra, creating an illusion of premium quality and professionalism. However, the reality of their services is far from this impression and amounts to deceptive marketing practices.
Despite raising these issues, Bonito refused to address them satisfactorily or provide a refund. I made several attempts to resolve the situation amicably, even offering them an opportunity to provide home accessories for the amount paid, but they refused, citing a minimum project value of Rs. 6.5 lakh.
It is evident that Bonito Designs has no intention of fulfilling their commitments or providing a refund for my hard-earned money. I kindly request you to take immediate action against Bonito Designs and help me recover the Rs. 1, 20, 397 that I lost.
