On 17th May 2015, I visited the website called www.bookemi.com. Generally these days you get lot of deals from various websites such as Flipkart, Snapdeal etc., I came across an offer where BOSE SIE2i Sport Headphones ("Headphones") were being sold for Rs.2499/-. The original cost of the Headphone on the website was around Rs 10, 000/-.
As the deal looked exciting, I ordered one Headphone for myself on 17th May 2015. Following are the Order details:
Order ID: 1178610
Dated Added: 17/05/2015
Payment Method: Cash on Delivery
I got a call on 18th May 2015 confirming my Shipping Address and the executive over the phone informed me that Headphone will be delivered within 3 days.
On 21st May 2015, I get a call from the executive of FedEx informing me that the Headphone that I had ordered has arrived. As the payment mode was Cash on Delivery, I paid Rs. 2600 to the executive of FedEX and the Headphone ordered was handed over to me. Since the website www.bookemi.com clearly stipulates, No shipping cost, I was surprised why I was asked to pay Rs. 100/- extra.
The details of the Sender is as follows:

When I opened the package, I was shocked to see that the Headphone that I had ordered was a first copy of the original product / fake product of the original Headphone. The Headphone that has been delivered is Red in colour and after thorough research on the internet, I got to know that the Headphone that I have ordered, do not come in Red.
I further did a search to understand how an original Bose Headphone looks and I was surprised that the none of the criterias mentioned over the internet, did not match with the Headphones that I had ordered.
So my doubt turned into a reality and I was sure that the Headphones are fake and not the one that I had thought. So I visited the website www.bookemi.com and as per the website they have a cancellation policy within 15 days from the receipt of the product.
Under the cancellation policy, they have provided with a customer care number i.e. "[protected]". I tried reaching that number, but to my despair, I am unable to get through the number.
In my opinion the website is a fraudulent website and has been created to dupe customers like me who believe the product to be genuine and original.
I request you to kindly take suitable action against the website and request to initiate refund of my fund which has been fraudulently obtained. Was this information helpful? |
Even I got duped by the same seller when I placed an order for BOSE sound bar for 4000/- which sounded ridiculously cheap and later when the package arrive all I found was Jeans and t-shirt in the package.
There is no contact number of this seller and i am unable to contact the seller to get the product returned for the promised product.
If anyone out there with leads to this seller, then please do let me know.
Now I am duped by the same seller, can anyone help me out here.
Regards,
Albert
