I booked a scooty rental with Boongg and paid ₹499 in advance for Booking ID SHTM/2025/005563, scheduled for 14 September 2025 at 9:00 AM from Wakad - Datta Mandir Rd, Pune.
At the time of pickup, I was informed that the vehicle was unavailable due to an extension by the previous user. No alternative was provided, and I had to cancel the booking myself. I was later told that had Boongg cancelled the booking, I would have received a refund — this was not communicated to me at the time.
I sent a formal complaint to Boongg via email on 16 September 2025, but have received no response for 13 days. Since the service was not provided, I am entitled to a full refund of ₹499.
I have also registered a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline. I request Boongg to take immediate action and process the refund without further delay. Was this information helpful? |
