[Resolved]  Burdwan DIB - Passport Verification Report — Police Verification Report is pending under SP Office, District Bardhaman Rural (DIB Burdwan) from last 15 months

Dear Sir/madam, Myself, Vikram Dhar, had applied for my passport as on dated 26/09/2013 (File ref no: CA[protected]; date of birth: 14/08/1986). My Police verification has been done as on dated:[protected], Since last 15 months the passport status shows: "Pending for physical police verification at your respective Thana under SP Office, District Bardhaman Rural.'' I Had visited the Purbasthali P.S. on dated: 11-Nov-2014 in this regard, as per them they have sent the file to Burdwan DIB as on dated 09-Aug-2014 & also shown me the list of files dispatch. When i contacted RPO kolkata (via mail & also personally visited) in this regard they told me that they can not process my file until they receive the clear Police Verification Report. they told me to collect the memo no. & dt: in this respect. I shall be highly obliged if the case is being looked upon as I am in urgent need of the passport. As far my knowledge it should not take so much in issuing the passport. My application is complete in all respect and all the relevant documents are enclosed. But still its taking too much time.
