I am Subhajit Das from New Town, Kolkata.
It my own complain about that, I was returning from my office to home on dated 28.06.2022 by a private bus route no 239 (from Babughat to Shapoorji). I used to travel from Esplanade to Narkelbagan everyday. As I am a daily passenger I am very much aware of the time to be taken to reach my stoppage and my fare.
But surprisingly on that day the bus was delaying very much and when I told about the delay, the driver told with such an audacity to step down from bus and told that he will continue to drive the bus in such a way. The driver also used slang languages. As a result, I reached home 45 min late.
Again, while giving fare the conductor demanded excess amount of Rs.25/- as against the fare for Rs.16/ decided by govt. When I asked for the fare chart he could not show me the chart instead harassed me and misbehaved with me for not giving the excess fare.
When I told I will complaint, he threatened, and used hand over me.
The consumer department can't do anything to us. Go and do whatever you want...",
Please do something about that bus fare, govt decided a price for better service but bus conductor demand another price.
I request you the take some serious action against the bus driver and conductor for misbehave.
This problem is not only for me but also for every passenger who travel by bus.
