Nehru Zoological Park Hyderabad Complaints & Reviews

I visited zoo park on 11 May 2024. Previously I visited the zoo long ago where I remember all the animals are very good to see but this time I felt every animal is not provided with proper food and care. I felt all the animals were very weak physically by watching them. Today I heard a news that a tiger was dead due to polluted water. Zoo gets a lot of money through the tickets and also extra amounts for bag counters food package etc which is absolutely unnecessary even though after getting enough money why can't they properly maintain the needs of the animals. Visiting zoo should give us pleasure and happiness but I felt very sad looking at the condition of the animals. Please take care of them.

I visited the Nehru park on 31st December 2022. I am disappointment for the below reasons:

1. In the ticket counters, the boards say "no cash accepted" and "All credit and debit cards accepted". However, only cash was accepted and no cards were accepted. not even upi payments.

2. In the safari, the ticket counter were issuing tickets only for ac buses. they kept saying non ac buses will take time and pushing many to get ac tickets...The ac buses started at 10.30 while the first non ac buses started at 11.05.

Today I visit to a zoo along with 30 students and 6 teachers and we obtain for the battery cars they charge rs 50 for 30 students and 85 rs for teachers.

The children are from 2 years to 5 years, on notice board I saw they charge the ticket from 3 years to 10 years I told them I do have 10 students of age 2 to 2.5 years they told they will charge for all the students they should change the notice if anything is there in this way and their behaviour is so rude, they drop us in 2 battery cars students are not comfortable and there is a less place to set that too they just drop on the first station again we told them to drop us on the second station they told to go us by walk. And we need to reach to another station then they will pick up us from there what type of behaviour is this they should told us earlier why they are charging this much fees and they are not giving a proper service the management should take a proper action against those persons.

The incharge at booking counter Mr Abrar Ahmed was giving previlages to a certain community . he was also providing wrong information while making all members of family including children stand in qeue while allowing a rep only of a community in qeue and ladies and children of that community or aquaintances of the individual were boarding from outside the qeue.
He was also giving undue advantages to certain aquaintances of certain two groups personally despite resistance from security staff also.
The matter was reported by me to Chief Curator Mr Ravi on phone...who immediately send Assistant Curator. ..Mr Laxman...
Hope some appropriate diciplinary action is taken against Mr Abrar Ahmed by the authorities for bringing disrepute and causing inconvenience to the gerenal public.

On 27 January my domestic servant's family went to Nehru Zoological Park Hyderabad with their small children.Their financial condition is below poverty level,hence they had cooked lunch at home and carried their tiffin box to avoid further expenses on food,however to their misery they were told to pay Rs10 per tiffin box for security checking of their tiffin boxes including water bottle.Security check of tiffin boxes is perfectly alright...
