Over delayed kitchen renovation work and no refund

I took Nobroker renovation service for my kitchen renovation and paid advance token on 30th March. At that time the Nobroker sales people had assured us that the work will be done in 15 days. Nobroker renovation team works with this modus operandi, after the first advance payment is done they will do the kick off in next 2/3 days, you get a impression that they are quite professional and quick but that all just goes down the after that. The design itself took 1 month where it was supposed to be done in 1 week.
After that these people will only remember you at the next payment milestone. At the time of 2nd payment which is 50% of the total contract, after all the escalation and followup with everyone in the Nobroker team, we got some assurance by the so called Manager #Sudarshan that the work will be done according to the schedule now, please do the payment for us to continue, if the payment is not done, these people stop the work. So we paid 1.79 L on 6th May as 50% of the payment. After that everyday their team would inform that they are coming to site but late in the afternoon after waiting for them and then calling the vendor, their project manager you get some lame excuse like today it is raining, today there is some pooja thats why workers will not come.
There is absolutely nobody accountable in the whole chain of hierarchy. The vendor says that they were hired only 8 days back and they have no idea about the project. Despite paying such a premium amount for the service the team here #Vinod, #Teju, so called manager #Sudarshan, noone gives a damn to your calls, they wont call back, neither pick the call. There is no response from the city manager or the customer relationaship manager. After escalating and followup continuosly with their team for 5 days, on 6th May we got revised timelines that the work will be complete till 31st May. We had clearly told them about our hardships as we have 2 young kids and the school has already started on 1st June. Despite all of this the work done is only 10hrs of work at the site.
The Nobroker team is now claiming that they have completed 40% of work and demanding the next payment of 30% from us. With all the above history we are just not trusting these people. We also had asked refund for our delay and like beggars some 600 rs is thrown at us as refund.
I regret the day when i signed nobroker for the renovation work. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. They dont care about the customer, all they care is for their payment. We are asking for a refund of 5k per day from 31st May, as that was the revised timelines shared by Nobroker in email after 1st escalation. Now they are exploiting us by saying that unless we do 30% payment, they wont start the work.

I opted NoBroker home renovations for my flat in Bangalore. i paid advance for my project. The design phase was literally so slow. The design scope was for false ceiling, and minor Puja unit modification work that itself took about 3 weeks time, and post design completion they shared revised quotation with revised labor and increased persft prices for materials used. I asked them to give justification in price escalation since delay was from their side the overall process from site visit and design for small activity took about a month time and why i should pay price escalation on material and labor cost. I agree if design wise any running feet or volume increase that is justifiable but why should I pay prices on labor or material cost other than agreed upon prices as per agreement.
They later said they will revise and share new quote. To my surprise in revised quote they corrected few items costing back to the first quote and escalated prices of other items/tasks and they said that is due to MRC revision ( their internal price changes) and their management has asked to give quote according to new prices
Their quotations keep changing with every iteration...and the values they display are not legible...i could have understood if marginal cost escalation the changes were so dramatically fuzzed that no one can belive. I have decided to bring into consumer forum for below reasons
1. Work delay caused by Your (Nobroker) team, due to their inefficiency or higher TAT, u should not make customer pay for it
2. Quoted prices doesn't justify...it only looks like an attempt to compensate overall price by lowering one item and increasing the price on other item
3. They create a whatsapp group against evert project and add a train of multiple people they call it team, they provide a standard escalation matrix from SPOC, relationship manager, PM etc.. and on ground realty those contacts are not much of helpful
Relationship manager who was my first contact was never reachable, City manager or any other lead given in escalation matrix hardly respond to my emails or whatsapp, they only keep You waiting
I have got my money stuck about a month and half wait/delay and no progress on ground in reality. I regret my decision for opting nobroker services, i should have opted for alternative brand or other trusted contacts for these services
