I received a mail from shah finlease stating that I had a standard charted bank credit card and there is some outstanding dues amounting to 314555.00. We requested them to provide details regarding this card. Instead of sending details, they have sent legal notice through their attorney company JKB legal. This legal notice says the amount due is 32, 383, 288.75p ... in crores...
They were sleeping for last 26 years and now...

I had taken a Standard Chartered Banks Credit card with a credit limit of Rs. 50000 in the year 2003 . We had done some EMI based purchases on the card and all the EMI were paid as on June 2003 . We have sufficient records of the same . The bank has sold the card to some company in mumbai known as SHAH Finlease Ltd and they have come up with an amount close to 751789.72 as my due towards this card and when we explained...
