When I contracted for the hire purchase with you for the above vehicle, I had issued 6 PDC cheques and had given an instruction for ECS for the rest. To my surprise, when I contacted Tata Finance at Bangalore for preclosure, I was told that two of the cheques were not enforced and I was asked to pay a sum of two instalments Rs.15300/- plus penalty of Rs. 4337/- for no fault of mine. I had maintained more than sufficient funds in the bank...
