Byjus Chennai — Cancelling of Registration NOT done

On July 6th, from Byjus a counsellor called me and committed me below things.

Wrong Commitments given by Yashika:

1. Students need to spend just 1 to 1.5 hrs per day.

2. By considering stateboard syllabus and the students, Byjus is creating a separate group/ batch for stateboard students alone, so that, every students in the batch will be having exams like mid-term, quarterly, half yearly exams on the dates and hence students can skip the classes during exam days and same classes will be arranged for them as all the boys in the state board students batch wouldn't have attended the class.

3. I asked her many times that, when you say as "loan" in 18 installments, whether ECS will be enabled and it will be auto debited from my account. For that, she said, "NO. Every month you will get a link and you need to click on it and pay through GPay, like you paid registration fee". After that only I clicked on the order link sent by Muthu Siva and shared OTP. But it seems, it's an auto debit from my account.

4. If I cancel the course registration, after 14 days of trial, I will get 100% refund of registration fees. If I cancel within 30 days, I will get 50% of registration fees.

Registration fees: Rs: 16000 (Done on 6tth itself through GPAY)
Loan amount (Course fee through 18 installments. Rs.6666/month) : 120000

But, after registration is done, I looked at class schedule. The class duration is for 3 hrs per day and my son cannot spend 3 hrs per day for Byjus course as he will be returning from school around 6AM after special got over. Hence, by thinking of our situation, before trial class starts on 13th itself, on 11th July ' 23 I raised a request through Byjus helpline. Someone will call and enquire for the reason for cancellation. after hearing this, they will say, someone will call me. Then, they won't. I sent email to cancellations team too. they raised some reference number and replied like some one will call. Again some one will call and get the reason for cancellation and nothing get progressed. If I call helpline number for chasing the request raised on 11th itself, they say, whenever i call, it will be 72 hrs of resolution time from that moment and hence I should avoid calling. Then how to chase/track our request.

The actual person who did my registration never pickup my call and never give me an update about my cancellation. By seeing this "don't care" attitude, I sent email to [protected]@byjus.com, [protected]@byjus.com,
[protected]@byjus.com, Padmaja.[protected]@byjus.com (Retention team). Grievances team never replied to my email and cancellation team will reply like, someone from Senior management will call me. but no one is calling. Today(19th July 2023) is the 9th day since im chasing them. If I raise a request in helpline for a call back also, no one is calling. In email also NOT responding my about my cancellation date.

From bank end, they said, unless refund is deposited in my loan account, loan will NOT get closed and bank also cannot close that loan. During registration, they said lie that, ECS will NOT be enabled for my account; I will be getting a link to my mobile and I need to click on that link and do a GPAY on every mon beginning. But, its NOT true. As next month is going to start soon, in order to avoid auto debit through ECS from my bank account, I would like to close the loan and hence chasing them from 11th July onwards. But still they have NOT closed my course registration and looks like they would like to loot my money.

Note: As I raised cancel request before trial class starts itself, I didnt receive the book material and the tab they sent through courier. I refused to get the parcel and returned to Byjus itself.

Could you pls assist me in getting my refund, so that my loan get closed.

Could you pls assist me on this to resolve? Byjus is still NOT responding to my cancellation. Both cancellations team and grievances redressal team is also silent. So far I have sent about 60 email and so many helpline request for a call back. But no response at all.
