Byju's- The Learning App — Request for full refund for course enrollment cancellation (UP PCS)

I attended an online counseling session dated 4th February 2024 with BYJU's counselor Faisal Qureshi ([protected]) and Roshni Yadav ([protected]) for the UP PCS course under scholarship mode. During the counseling session, I was informed that I am entitled to a full refund of RS 5000/- if I notify within a week, as per the information provided by the counselor. The payment for the course was made through Google Pay on the BYJU'S link generated by the counselor (Faisal Qureshi). The total amount paid was INR 5, 000/-, split between two transactions made on 04.02.2024 and 05.02.2024 respectively, as reflected in the attached payment receipts for your reference.
I called the same counselor on 6th February 2024 and told him that I couldn't go with this course due to some right-to-privacy violation as original documents were accessed through their app and also my order number is not generated yet even after paying 5000/- I am not feeling confident the way I was treated by them during the enrollment process for the course and wanted to cancel it right now and also dropped an E-mail to their email ID's.
The counselor said that the refund couldn't be processed without generating an application ID. First, I must finish the loan application process through the TL Pay app which is an EMI option to pursue the course only then the cancellation and refund process will be initiated.
I regret to inform you that I have been subjected to undue pressure from Byju's representatives to continue with the enrollment process or complete the loan application process through the TL Pay app. Despite my clear expression of not wishing to proceed with the course, I have been denied a refund, which is deeply disheartening.
Such terms were never briefed to me by the counselor or anyone from BYJU earlier. The counselor said the cancellation and refund will not be processed. Also, I didn't get any mail regarding initiating my refund even raising my complaint in writing 3-4 times on their website and through email. At this point, I feel cheated and harassed financially and mentally by BYJU. What I was told by the counselor on the first day about the refund policy was a false statement/promise.
As per their policy, I am liable to get a full refund. The only solution I want is my refund of 5000/- that I paid.
Kindly help us and process my refund as soon as possible. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with an update through Email and the expected timeline for receiving the refund amount.
