My landline number 044-222XXXXX is dead for the past 10 days and I had lodged a compliant on 10.04.2023 with docket number[protected]. I had been following with their customer care [protected] and I get the same reply WE ARE ESCLATING AND STAFF WILL CALL YOU SHORTLY..!! When I ask them to transfer the line to the next authority the flatly refuse or say NO HIGHER UPS ARE AVAILABLE..!! On one occasion (15.04.2023 @ 10.40 a.m) the customer care lady ANUBHAVI cut the phone abruptly...!!! One time they asked me to appeal online and I got a new docket number as[protected]. Till date no one has contacted me or no one has come to rectify. Is this the service they give to their customers..?? No wonder people are switching to other private services..!!

Hope to get my phone rectified at the earliest.

Landline no[protected] is dead since last 4 months. Please repair it urgently.
Also please note that i am getting bills for this period which needs to be reversed

W.R.T to the above subject matter, I have tried lodging a complaint with Calcutta Telephones but my complaints have not been heared, hence using this as my last medium.

As per the above subject, my telephone line is non-functional for the past 15+ months. I have been paying regularly our monthly subscription but connection doesn't work. I am seriously having thoughts of disconnecting the line permanently if this problem does not get solved by this month. We have been having this BSNL connection for past 32 years hence wanted to continue just for sentimental reasons, not that it is of much use due to mobiles phones nowadays, but if we have to just pay and not get service, it really does not make sense.

Request you to please take this matter up with them under utmost importance and urgency to restore the line as fast as possible or I will be left with no choice to but disconnect the line forever and they loose a another customer also forever.

SUBJECT: LANDLINE DEAD AND RENT REBATE REQUEST

SIR,
MY LANDLINE NO. IS[protected]. MY Landline no. is dead since 10 November 2020. i lodged complaint(Complaint no. [protected]) for the same but till date no action has been taken for fixing my landline. I have attached the screenshot of the Landline complaint.
i therefore request you to kindly rebate my landline monthly rent from 10 November 2020 and fix my landline as soon as possible.

The landline [protected] has been dead since June
Several complaints made in writing, in person and through email.No one has come to fix the landline so far.
The local exchange does not seem to care. Multiple emails to cgm Calcutta telephones were of no avail

I find that there is excess amount was paid to bsnl.
How can i get the refund. Please let me know the process to achieve this.

Complaint with registration no.[protected] on phone number[protected] is still out of order. But bsnl saying it has been attended to and repaired. This is happening all the time. Complains are registered but without repairing bsnl informing it has been repaired. If you have any complain contact 1500.
Bsnl must take immediate and urgent action for redressal.

The poorself made the greatest mistake of his life by opting for a broadband connection from BSNL under telephone no[protected]. The broadband line, cited above, has become a source of great embarrassment as most of the days it does not work though the BSNL has raised the rent like anything. It is required to pay around Rs.1000/- per month though the scheme name is 750UL. The complaintant being an executive of a PSU opted for it considering its state ownership and also 20% discount. The story of the service in very recent days are noted below to acknowledge the exemplary service of BSNL. 1. On 11/7/2015 a complaint was lodged under docket no.[protected] for non functioning which was closed by the BSNL without even attending the same for requested rectification. 2. On 19/7/2015 again a complaint was lodged under docket no.[protected] for non functioning . This time the attending executive Mr.S.B.Chetri received the call and was very modest to take immediate action and accordingly the very next day the technician attended and rectified the line. 3. On 23/7/2015 again a complaint was lodged under docket no.[protected] for non functioning of broadband. This time one Mr.Satyajit Roy received the call and kept the complaintant waiting for almost half an hour and didn't returned back thereafter. Under the circumstances, the complaintant has two options open A. To surrender the line and get peace of mind OR B. To escalate the matter to the proper forum including TRAI and demand actions against the erring officials. I demand a reply from the BSNL authorities immidiately on this score.

Dilip agarwal 58 viveka nand road, kolkata - 700006 my telephone number is 22196569 and i have surrendered the telephone connection long back and i have received the telephone bill with the credit amount showing the adjustments of all arrears and security deposit. i have personnally requested the concerned commercial officer many times for giving the cheque of my credit amount but they would not listen ... and i dont know now...

I am a subscriber of Calcutta Telephone. My Telephone number is[protected]. It has been dead since[protected]. I am docket on[protected]. But yet not repair my telephone. I met with the officer of Bhatpara Telephone for 4 or 5 time with Sri D.K. Bal or Sri P.K. Biswas. They tell me that it will repair soon. But yet now no result has been made.
They also said me the some miscreant theft the cabel or unauthorised digging the pipeline...

Please note that my above phone is not working regularly since last 2 year. when I complain for dead telephone, it will be take 15 days to repairs and when the repairs is done then it dead after 4 or 5 days. It is regular routine for last 2 year or more. The telephone authority can check the uses or incoming call for last 2 year. Can I request the authority to kindly look into the matter, so that my phone start working regularly of suggest me that what I can i do for this telephone which take space in drawing-room as show piece and i am paying bill for that. Granteed PCO [protected], Docket No [protected] dated 01.10.2013 Written complain receive by Mr. Debnath (P.M) on 03.10.13 of of RISHRA EXCHANGE, and also request to linesman Mr. Paul to recover the line .But no body visit us.as a result the is fully deed. But we liable to pay minimum Rs. 225.00 in due time which bill not receive in due time before the due date . Please look after the matter. inspite of my several complaint lodged, no proper action has been taken till date. every time lineman rang up and say ur phone is okay without listening customer problem.in my side, we are unable to talk because of husky sound.Moreover, i also requested them to change my bsnl receiver due to low incoming ring tonne.regret that no changes made till date with the version no receiver is available in the office.this is really ridiculous.its hard to believe how BSNL can provide this short of service in a competitive situation. i would also like to draw your kind attention that at the time of broad band installation,my receiver was taken away by people who came to install due to some problem in receiver with the commitment to replace by to morrow but no receiver was supplied after two years.it was my fault that i could not collect any slip for returning my receiver.hence they are taking advantage of the same. we two are senior citizen unable to talk to my son who is residing in USA. this would my last try to solve the complaint otherwise decided to surrender land line with a reason behind letter to all the corner about the service of BSNL.

My telephone is out of order from 27th March 2013, complaint no [protected]. No action has been taken yet. Several visit to the office and meeting the officer got futile. My business solely depends upon BB and I have recurred a big loss. Still the bills are coming where call charges have been charged (how come?). Please help me. I am from kolkata 700037.

Hello is there any one from BSNL, Calcutta telephones listening! Once monopolistic telecoms giant has been turned to would be dwarf, because of its corrupt, scrounging and unwilling employees. Millions of their generations old customers deserted them and they thank their luck that they took right decision in right time. Ill lucks with them those who either due to lack of time or still with false trust with anything that bears smell of government.
I am one who still has a land line[protected] with broadband connection. Months ago when they broke down, I lodged a complaint and got docket number. But surprisingly that was last ! There after number of times my telephone went out of order or so the broadband connection; but I could not lodge fresh complaint as the old docket is not cleared yet! Speaking to any of their employee is as tough as climbing mount Everest; however I did so once or twice but in vain.

Now again the telephone and BB is giving trouble and I could not lodge complain with 1500 as its ever lodged (!); will someone do something?

FOR THE LAST TWO MONTHS THERE HAS BEEN FREQUENT DISRUPTIONS IN MY LAND LINE AND BROAD BAND.POOR. BROADBAND SPEED
OF 1Mbps when i am supposed to get 4 Mbps under HOME COMBO ULD 900 PLAN.Always saying the problem would be rectified but till date no solution has been found.Being a doctor by profession I am facing a lot of hardship.and has been forced to purchase data card of a private company. I WANT TO KNOW ONE SIMPLE ANSWER ,"IF BSNL IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICE THEN LET THEM SPEAK OUT".I would be too glad to withdraw my service.once and for all.
