I am Vidhya.V(Reg no.NSAIEEE092), passed out B.tech student from NSS College of Engineering,palakkad in the year 2012. I am placed in TCS & Wipro through campus recruitment . I had 3 backlogs in 6th semester in the first attempt. I gave for revaluation since I was sure I will pass. But I had to write the supplementary exams as the results were ‘No change’.
I wrote the exams well but when the supplementary exam results were published, I passed only in one subject. I applied for revaluation with photocopy since I am sure I will get more than pass mark. As per the rule,the revaluation results has to be published within 45 days after the last date for registration or before the starting of next exams. According to this, the results had to be published by 25th February but the results are not published yet and the exams are starting on this Friday[protected].
Since I did not submit my certificates last month,Wipro has cancelled my job offer.TCS has asked me to submit all the certificates before[protected] else they will also cancel my job offer.
I kindly request you to take action for publishing the results as soon as possible and also against the complaint against improper revaluation of the teachers( since all the revaluation results are now turning to be no change).

Sir,
I am a serving soldier of Indian Air Force and presently stationed at Jorhat, a north eastern belt of Assam, situated near China border.
My wife - Pravitha P, was a student of SDE Calicut University for M Com, during the year[protected]. She could not complete the course in the year 2007, as we got married in the year 2007 and moved to Bangalore. However she appeared for the examination in the subsequent years and completed her course in the year Aug 2009 - Though the exam was Aug 2009 session,the University actually conducted the examination somewhere in Apr 2010 and the result was declared on 22 Nov 2010.

Finally when my wife completed her course after declared passed by the university, she applied for her TC to the SDE, Calicut University. Mean time we had moved to Jorhat, as I have been transferred from Bangalore.

The application for TC was forwarded to The Director, SDE along with necessary documents (Original Student I card - Enrollment No - 520245 along with a self addressed envelope affixed with stamp for Rs. 25) by Regd post (Regn No - 001788) with AD on 03 Nov 2011. Since I had not received the AD of the Regd letter, I had approached the Post Master, where I had booked the registered letter. The Post Master confirmed me that the letter had been delivered to the addressee on 04 Nov 2011.

However I did not receive any communication regarding my wife's Transfer Certificate from the SDE till the month of September 2012. Hence I made a telephone call to SDE, to found out the status of application. Then the section IC of M Com section had intimated me that the application has been kept pending since its receipt, for want of Rs. 250/- as an additional fee, as my wife's duration of study was for the year 2005 - 07 and it was now 04 years had been passed after the completion of her study. He also advised to forward a cheque for an amount of Rs 250/- immediately to get her TC.

Sir, now I would like to bring few things into your notice are :-

a) My wife had paid all the fees for her course during her studies and completed her course.

b) She was appearing for her supplementary examinations, till she got cleared her last paper. For which the result has come in the month of Nov 2010. She had applied for the TC after she got passed. Otherwise the SDE mentions in the TC as 'Failed' in the concerned column.

c) The SDE, neither in their instructions, nor in the fees table, of their hand book had mentioned about the time period, within which a candidate should apply for the Transfer Certificate, failing which a fine is to be levied.

As the TC was required for joining for further studies at Assam, my wife had missed out entire one year due to the non issue of TC by the SDE, University of Calicut.

Also it is not possible now to join for any course as I am expecting my transfer from the present place, where I am completed 3 years .

In view of the above, it is requested to take up the matter with the Director, SDE, Calicut University, for issue of the TC at the earliest and also a compensation, for the disruption of my wife's further study due to delay of issuing TC.

Petition against- UNIVERSITY OF CALICUT-DISTANCE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT-

There are hundreds of students joined the distance education BA degree
programmes under Distance education-University of Calicut in 2011-12
accadamic year.

Student who applied,paid full year fees, and registered through
Calicut University-Distance Education, for B.A degree programmes in
the year 2011-12 are not...

I am Rohini completed my post graduation in Msc.Food science and Technology.Actually our course duration was[protected] september.But due to Calicut university technical problems that was completed on 2012 januvary.here our 4 month already lost.Then next problem is about our result.After completion of our course only 1st semester result was published yet.That was Published after one 1yr by giving a written complaint to VC.When we ask about the results last time they told they will published on this march.But not yet published after giving written complaint to VC and Examination controller. When we ask about this delay on PB they gave some real facts that the papers not to be send for evaluation camp. Due to their irresponsibility towards this results many of the students cannot go for their further studies and job.The interesting fact is that this is a professional course and they bring23000 per semester(23000*4) and 30000 caution deposit.then there is no facility for giving such a great payment. Our juniour batch with other course that is Microbiology and biochemistry have published their results.The only ignorance to" FOOD TECHNOLOGY"Actually we all trapped there without knowing these facts.Many of the students taken education loan and they have start the time of repayment but what to do with this condition?The students who completed same courses which from other universities got their placements...CALICUT UNIVERSITY" THE MOST WORST UNIVERSITY" I EVER STUDIED.please Beware off..if you can suggest any solution for this

also near 15 subjects not passed till now
they don't evaluate the papers and the evaluation staffs qualification is 10th or 12 ,so they can't evaluate b.tech paper . it's fraud university .

my name is jibin m joy having b. com certificate with reg. no: CCAGBP0291, passed april 2009. from christ college irinjalakuda of calicut university. i lost my B.com certificate last year and applied for duplicate with special fee for getting earlier on November 23rd 2010 having chalan no: 1 date of chalan 22/10/2010 amount 565.
after one month i called to university and enquired about the certificate then they told me that "every thing is ready and they have given the certificate to get sign from VC, with in next month you will get the certificate." but after 2 month when i called they give another reply that" the person in charge is changed and now i am doing everything and if you need the certificate urgent, please come to university and you can get the certificate from here." then i go to the university with my offer letter from Dubai. and given them an application along with the copy of offer letter to get the certificate earliest and to go to Dubai. they also told me that VC is leave on today so when he came we will get the certificate signed and send to you with three weeks.
after 2 months when i called, they are telling me that they dont have any scientific method for issue of certifcate and the person who told me like that is MR. SADASIVAN in section EDP- II.
what should i do to get my certificate?

Actually I am surprised to write this complaint..I am waiting for my BA degree final year result but unfortunatly it says that it is been withheld. After waiting for long time with curiosity it is sad to know it is been withheld. Then i started to seach for the reasons then they told me that it is because I did not pay INR 25 as per universities late memo..I don't have any idea about it, not only myseld many of my friends...its ok our mistake ,.,,then i paid on that date by courier ,,it is been almost a week no updates...I feel really pitty on this university ....I just dont care u hold my mark list or certificate anything but why the hell u hold my result...
Guys I am not a prson who normally make complaints but this is something ,,,i dont wanna mention...atleast this hell univesity can make a complaint box....

but i am sure that i have written very well

there is some problems in valuation of btech in calicut university

also one of my friend who studied nothing
who tells after every exams that he will fail
but when result came he passed with good marks

so hardworking students will not get mark and lazy get marks

is this good to a university?
it will degrade university...........

heard that there are many political issues regarding valuation
also heard that they will get question papers before exams...

is this good for a top university like calicut?

It is with deep sadness and suffering that i write this complaint. An institution which is supposed to be an epitome of honour and education, is acting with such irresponsibilty that it tarnishes the image of the very principles the education system stands for.
A student o[censored]niversity of Calicut, me and various other students of the university have been subjected to the atrocities of the university. Except maybe the first year results of B.Tech, hardly a decent error free result has been declared for us by the university. The first time we ever faced a failure in the exams in our professional degree, most o[censored]s applied for revaluation of the paper. Though the results of it were announced after about an year for some of the students, for many o[censored]s it still hasnt been announced, after a year and a half. And almost all the students passed the paper on revaluation; and that too only after passing their supplimentary exam first. IS THIS SOME KIND OF NEW METHOD FOR THE UNIVERSITY TO MAKE MONEY???? The same thing was repeated the next semester and the next. And again when the last resuls were announced, many failed in some of the exams they least expected to. Some of the people who expected to pass all the subjects, failed in as many as five subjects. Not everyone's family is in the financial condition to apply for revaluation no matter how confident we might be about how well we had written the exam.
First pay the supplimentary exam fees. Then pay the revaluation fees. And then pass the subject. Are they making a mockery of the education system? Or have they degraded Education to just another "business"? Maybe these things cannot be answered by anyone. Maybe they can. But for students like us who cannot afford to give for revaluation, we're just another set of pawns in the University's hands. For them we're just another source of income. Not students.
I doubt whether this complaint of mine will bring about any change. But with all the faith in my heart for the values my country stands for, I wish it would.
