?I am writing to formally escalate a critical safety violation and total deficiency of service regarding my journey from Vashi to Mulki on May 15, 2026 (PNR: 1311457, Seat no: L3, L4, L16, Total Paid: ?11, 325.75), operated by Canara Pinto Travels.
?The provided vehicle (NL01B4647) was completely unroadworthy, possessing torn upholstery in seats L3, L4 & L16 and exposed, live electrical wiring hanging directly over passenger berths L3/L4. Following extreme rash driving and constant violent braking, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic structural failure where the bus axle snapped at Gunavante, Karnataka, leaving us stranded on the highway. Local operator offices didn't respond to our contact attempts.
?After a delay, we were subjected to a gross service downgrade and crammed into a substandard, non-AC sleeper bus (NL01B4747) that was also going to Mangalore & it was already completely full, to finish the journey.
?redBus front-line support had issued an minor automatic credit of ?1, 132 for the complaint of torn upholstery & AC/Light panel missing in seats L3 & L4. An official government grievance has been successfully lodged under National Consumer Helpline Docket Number: 9319527.
?Due to the extreme safety hazards and trauma experienced, it is entirely unsafe for my mother and sister to utilize the return leg of this travel arrangement. I demand an immediate manual intervention from your office to process a 100% full refund for the journey. ?Clear photographic evidence of the exposed infrastructure and the non-AC bus and how we sat is attached.
