Careerheadhunt.com — Job Scam - Fake offer from Meta

This complaint is with reference to other content on your site with url: https://www.consumercomplaints.in/dicehunts-and-diceasisn-job-scam-c3275259. The same similar case has happened to me also recently in last week.

I have been badly cheated by a person by name Mr. Vivek Raizada. He approached me this month of March-2023 claiming that he is from careerheadhunt.com and they are recruiters for companies like TCS, Netflix, Deloitte etc. He asked me to register first and I paid an initial amount of 4999/- as registration fees and then he told me that there is an opening in META. Even there was a telephonic interview and he said that HR from META is going to interview. They just asked about me and my current profile. Later after a couple of days, there was a Interview/Profile Analysis Questionnaire form which I received in my gmail from [protected]@facebookmail.com (which was forwarded to me from [protected]@careerheadhunt.com). I filled the same and replied over mail. Then there was a reply back stating that "Congrats! Recruitment process completed & Final agreement processed". This agreement came with an amount of 1% (of total package offered) to be paid as security deposit which will be refunded later once i complete the joining process with Meta. I felt into the trap and paid them the money of 1% for the offered package. Then later somehow i started developing doubts on the entire process and did some research on this and got to know that i have been cheated badly. They then started asking more money stating reason that professional portfolio to be created for WFH, document verification etc. By now i had an idea that they are cheating so did not fall into the trap further. But the pattern has been exactly same as mentioned in the above mentioned URL.
