Careerlabs — Complaint Against CareerLabs for Fraudulent Loan and Non-Delivery of Services

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against CareerLabs Private Limited for fraudulent practices, misrepresentation, and financial deception, which have caused me severe distress and financial burden.

Issue Summary:
False Promises & Misrepresentation:

CareerLabs employees approached me with an educational program, promising that I would receive a stipend during the course and a job within six months.
They assured me that my course fees would be paid monthly from my stipend/salary, and I would not need to take a loan.
Fraudulent Loan Taken in My Name:

I was unaware that a loan was being taken in my name from Varthana Finance by CareerLabs.
All the loan formalities were handled by CareerLabs employees, and I never received any amount personally.
Non-Delivery of Services & CareerLabs Absconding:

CareerLabs never started the course as promised.
For the first 8 months, CareerLabs paid EMIs to Varthana, keeping me unaware of the loan.
When they stopped paying, I investigated and found that CareerLabs had shut down and absconded, leaving me with a debt I never benefited from.
Legal and Financial Harassment:

Now, Varthana Finance is forcing me to repay the loan, even though I never received the course or any financial benefit.
They claim they have filed a case against CareerLabs, but they are still pressuring students to settle the loan.
Relief Sought:
1)Immediate action against CareerLabs for fraud and misrepresentation.
Cancellation of the fraudulent loan taken in my name, as I never availed any services or funds.
2)Investigation by consumer protection authorities to hold CareerLabs accountable.
3)Strict action to prevent similar fraudulent activities against other students.

I kindly request the Consumer Protection Authority to investigate this case and provide me with justice. I am also willing to provide supporting evidence, including emails, loan documents, and payment details.
