I came across a company named CashJosh which operates through a Telegram channel with over 29, 000 members. The company regularly posts Amazon product links on its channel, claiming that customers will receive 100% cashback after successfully placing and receiving the orders.
Following their instructions, I placed 4 orders totaling approximately ₹7, 000 from the Amazon links shared by them. One of the orders was from a seller named Vyom. After the products were delivered, I submitted all required order details to CashJosh as directed. However, I have not received any cashback, and now the company has stopped responding to my messages entirely.
In addition to this, the company seems to engage in malicious practices such as artificially inflating the ratings of fake sellers and encouraging users to complete fake orders (sometimes receiving empty boxes) just to boost the credibility of a seller. This misleads other users into trusting and ordering from such sellers, only to fall victim to similar scams.
This behavior is highly unethical and fraudulent. I am attaching relevant screenshots of Telegram communications, Amazon order confirmations, and other supporting evidence to support my case.
I urge the concerned authorities to:
Investigate CashJosh and its operations,
Take strict legal action against them,
Ensure such fraudulent schemes are shut down immediately, and
Help me recover my ₹7, 000 as cashback that was promised.
