[Resolved]  Chaya Foundation — Fraud NGO. Only runs it for the Sake of Funds

What a behaviour from Chhaya! Sharda Radhakrishnan you please learn to be as nice as dogs are. We all are busy in our respective works. Not only you. Dogs are not inhuman but people like are. Ms. Gomes is a wonderful person but you are just pathetic.

People who are really working hard on their own, without any donations for the street dogs of kolkata have the same opinion of this chhaya. Even have the reputation of killing the street dogs after picking them up.
Would request the concerned authorities to find out the truth to save these poor creatures from the hands of these cruel, money hungry butchers.

Now they will try to best service and they always help me when we require .
They suggest me medicine name for my area's street dogs.

Please mam. One day go visit their foundation in sonarpur. They are the best in kolkata and they do everything in their power to help these dogs. I have sent numerous dogs and they have always treated them and gave them back to me. There are a few diseases that cant be cured. Those puppies that died possibly had distemper or parvo which is extremely difficult to cure and being pups or old dogs you can also say that it can't be cured at all. They don't take such pups cz the place where they keep the dogs have various disases and it becomes all the more difficult to help them survive. I am not saying that they are not wrong. But i will definitely say that for once put yourself in their situation and think. Everyday they have about a 100 cases to take care of.

Please dont comment with a particular case, because I have a street dog who suffers critical disease, when I phoned them to take this dog to their dispensary they gladly take this yesterday and assured me to cure this dog. I salute them for their behavior.

I have a street dog who has got a severe injury on his back, he can't get up due this issue. I took my dog to this so called fraudulent ngo CHHAYA located at sonarpur on 19th feb 2017 due to his injury. I handed over the dog to them and they told me they will take good care of him. Let me tell you when i handed my dog to them, that time the dog was very healthy. Anyway coming to the point now, the very next day i called up the person incharge mr surojit ([protected]) and he said that the dog is not yet recovered and they will be doing an X-RAY to detect the exact cause of the injury, so i kept on calling everyday for about one a half week. Last about 4 days back when i called him he said that my dog has got a severe spinal injury and will be taken care of. I was delighted to know. 2 days back when i gave him a call again to know about his condition, he was sounding very rude over the phone and when i asked about his condition, he said that he is going to die soon, nothing can be done, he is going to be abandoned soon. After knowing all this we took the decision of bringing the dog back home and we told mr surojit to give the dog back. He said yes he will bring the dog but then in the evening when i called him again to know the exact time he is bringing the dog back, he said that they can't send the dog back as he is about to die and as their van jerks a lot, he might die due to jerking. After knowing all this [censored] from him, i personally went to sonarpur to bring my dog back. When i reached CHHAYA the condition of my dog was so bad, his ribs were almost popped out, it looked like as if from many months he didnt get any food to eat, and his mouth was tied up with a very rough string for which he got bruises all over his nose, and when i asked why did you tie his mouth like that, he said he has biting tendencies which is absolutely bull [censored]. When i gave my dog to them, he was very healthy. CHHAYA did not provide any sufficient food to my dog as he was a street dog. They did not provide any treatment to him. So when i was about to leave with the dog they made me sign a paper and while signing the paper i saw X-RAY report status written NORMAL. When i asked that you said he has a spinal injury but its written normal here, mr surojit didnt had anything to say and when i asked for the reports, he said he cant provide the reports as it is against the rules of the NGO. Anyway i took my dog back home. This is the worst experience i ever had with CHHAYA. They are running the NGO only for the sake of funds and let me tell you CHHAYA picks up abandoned dogs, kills them, cuts their organs and sell it to different parts of the city. If you want to save your dog, dont hand over to CHHAYA if you want your dog healthy and alive, because they were about to kill my dog when they refused to give my dog back. Currently my dog is under treatment. I am posting his photos, you can see his condition after being in CHHAYA for about 18 days.

This male dog was brought to Chhaya by Ms. Moushmi Chatterjee, mobile no. [protected], on 19.02.2017. The dog was unable to walk and a victim of accident. Ms. Chatterji use to call regularly for updates on the health condition, which Subhojit had given accordingly. He was never rude and responded to the calls professionally. Sometimes the call went up-to 6-7 minutes while discussing the matter. After the x-ray was done, we told Ms. Chatterjee that the dog had a spinal injury. It was never communicated that the back was broken. Despite pain management, antibiotics and necessary infusions being administered (N.B. All treatment was under veterinary surgeon's advice) the dog was still unable to walk even after 9 days of treatment. The dog was 15 kgs. When admitted, was in constant pain, traumatized in the new place, so he obviously ate less & consequently lost weight. As we felt that the dog could not live on the street, we recommended to release the dog in our trauma centre where we have additional 15-18 such cases and those victims were never abandoned anywhere.
After couple of days when Ms. Chatterji wanted to take the dog back, we refused to send this dog in our regular transfer vehicle with other healthy discharged cases as the dog might be injured again and could die too in his fragile health condition. When Ms. Chatterji insisted and came to take the dog home, we had to tie his mouth when carrying him to her car as he was snapping at us.
We can understand the pain when someone's dog was not getting better, but false & malicious allegations like "...Chhaya is cutting dog organs & selling dog meat..." is not true at all. There is always two versions to every issue. We have tried to convey the reality from our side. Using foul language to state something that is utterly false and defamatory is deplorable.
We dare to ask Ms. Chatterjee to provide supporting evidence of presented allegations. We are consulting our lawyers about a defamation suit against her.
