Chennai Tambaram Passport Seva — Delay in issuing Tatkal Passport for more than 2 Weeks by Chennai Tambaram Passport Seva

I submitted my application for a Tatkal passport at the Chennai Tambaram Passport Seva on August 26, 2025. I was assured that the passport would be delivered within two days. However, I am compelled to write this complaint on October 8, 2025, nearly two weeks later, and I have yet to receive the passport. I have sent several emails to their Escalation Mail ID and have also raised this issue on the Passport Grievance portal, but I have not received any response. Upon visiting the Tambaram Passport office in person to inquire, I was informed that the passport is printed in Delhi, but they could not provide a specific date for its dispatch. This situation is extremely frustrating, especially considering the urgency of my travel plans and the lack of communication from the passport office.
