Order for apparels was placed with as creations in jaipur and payment of inr63, 512.00 was paid via my bank in the usa. Supplier, akhilesh sharma had sent invoice for 96 items however, only 62 items was received. The issues with the apparels were:
1. Stains on the clothes
2. As per invoice we were charged for 4 pcs (S, m, l, xl) per design however, did not receive the complete set.
3. Loose threads on the fabrics
4. Pictures or photos of apparels not received
5. No mention of sku numbers
6. Some of the apparels are dirty
7. Mediocre packing, the packaging has wrinkled dirty look
8. Size tag missing on some of the apparels
9. Some of the clothes are creased, improper fold
10. Care has not been taken into consideration whilst packing and dispatching of the clothes
11. Money has been received by the supplier however, he has not fulfilled his obligation with the order.
12. Stitching issues
From the beginning it was emphasized that we are interested in indo-western style of apparels, however, we did not receive some of the items that we really wanted.
This is very unprofessional business ethic and unethical practice. No matter what country the suppliers are doing business with either on a domestic level or global level, this kind of practice is not acceptable. There should be a standard. I have been disappointed by the lack of quality, and standard by as creation. This is about the relationship we are establishing with suppliers in india rather then choosing another country. We trust the supplier in good faith that they will stand by their obligation.
Your attention to this matter will be much appreciated so that other people are not scammed. This is about honesty in business practice so we can sustain a business relationship and we are interested in doing business with india. I am sure there are some very honest, trust worthy suppliers. But suppliers who scam should be brought to light so such practices can be avoided. It is all about the right attitude of doing business.
