CID — passport verification

I had applied for renewal of passport on 22/09/2017 vide file number jm[protected]. My police and cid verfication was closed within a week but now even after 2 months of applying for passport, the status is reflecting as "pending for physical police verification at respective thana under sp office, district jammu."

Please note that when i contacted the concerned police thaana (Sp office jammu), they have sent positive verification reports (Both police verification and cid verification) on 13th october itslef vide chalan number 380 to jammu cid office. However, the status is still obscure for unknown reasons strangely.

Unfortunately this ghostly delay has seriously impacted my plans both personally and professionally.
