Single debt told me that they will help me to stop getting harassments from recovery agents. But they do nothing, first they ask two months of service fee in advanced and later they not able to fulfilling with their services.

In the first month, they charge me 20000 rupees, which is fixed monthly payment towards debt. After that, they send introductory letters to creditors. In the second month, they send offer letters to the creditors once they receive second-month payment. These offer letters suggest pay only 1, 000 to 2, 000 rupees per month to the banks or creditors, which is not realistic, and no bank accepts such a low amount.

The creditors or banks never respond to the emails, letters, or communication sent by this service. They only contacted me directly for payments. Since EMIs are overdue, creditors started calling me, my family members, office colleagues, and friends regularly. They visited my home and harrassed me, they even send legal notices. The debt management service takes a very long time to respond to these, despite continuous reminders.

As time goes on, the harassment from creditors and banks increase because they prefer to talk to me directly, not through the debt management service.

Using the call forwarding option provided by the service doesn't help, as creditors don't use it. Single debt service do nothing, they charge 1st two month advance fee which is 40k rupees. This is clearly fraud with helpless people by taking advantage of situation.
